JaxSuite AI vs GMass
TL;DR
GMass is a Chrome extension that turns the Gmail compose window into a mail merge and cold email tool, priced from $20 a month billed annually, with inbox rotation and unified reply handling on its higher plans. JaxSuite AI is a full outbound platform: a 300M+ contact database, its own sending infrastructure, warm-up, Microsoft 365 support and a CRM, at a higher price.
If you have a spreadsheet of 400 people and want a personalised email in front of each of them by lunchtime, GMass is the better tool and JaxSuite AI is overkill. It installs into Gmail, reads a Google Sheet, merges the fields and sends. There is nothing to configure, nothing to migrate and no onboarding, and it costs less than a fifth of what we charge.
The line is what happens when sending is only part of the job. GMass does not know who to email, because it has no contact database, and it does not keep track of what happened afterwards, because it has no CRM. It also cannot warm a mailbox up, having shut that feature down in 2023, and it works with Google accounts only. Those four gaps are what JaxSuite AI is for.
| Feature | JaxSuite AI | GMass |
|---|---|---|
| Where it runs | Standalone web app that connects Google Workspace, Microsoft 365 or SMTP mailboxes, plus its own sending infrastructure | Chrome extension inside Gmail. Campaigns are written in the Gmail compose window and appear in your Sent folderPer gmass.co, 2026-08-10. Google accounts only, so a team on Microsoft 365 cannot use GMass at all. This is the sharpest practical dividing line between the two. |
| Price | Free Core outreach plan, then Pro at $97 and Elite at $197 a month billed yearly; CRM free tier and from $39 a month | Standard $249, Premium $349 and Professional $599 a year, shown as $20, $29 and $49 a month billed annually. Monthly billing is $29.95, $39.95 and $59.95. Team plans start at $1,750 a year for five usersFrom gmass.co/pricing, 2026-08-10. GMass is much cheaper than us, and for a small sending job that is the whole argument. |
| Finding people to email | 300M+ contacts to search and buy inside the account, with email validation and website visitor identification | None. You bring the list, typically a Google Sheet, a CSV or the results of a Gmail searchGMass is a sending tool and does not sell prospect data, 2026-08-10. Budget for a separate data source if you do not have a list. |
| Multi-inbox rotation | Inbox rotation from the Elite tier across Google, Microsoft 365 or SMTP accounts, with 50 sending accounts on the free plan and 250 on Pro | MultiSend splits one campaign across multiple connected Gmail or Workspace accounts, with only the primary account needing a Professional or Team subscriptionPer the GMass MultiSend documentation, 2026-08-10. Worth being precise: GMass does rotate inboxes, so the real difference is provider coverage and what sits behind the mailboxes, not the existence of rotation. |
| Mailbox warm-up | Automated warm-up on paid outreach plans, with dedicated IPs available | None. GMass shut its warm-up system down after Google objected to warm-up running over the Gmail APIAnnounced on the GMass blog, effective 31 January 2023, and still its position on 2026-08-10. Note the shared constraint: when JaxSuite AI sends through your Google mailbox, Google per-account limits apply to us in exactly the same way. What GMass has no equivalent for is sending over dedicated IPs instead. |
| Reply handling | Unified inbox across every connected mailbox, with auto reply available | The Reply Project collects replies from the connected accounts into one place to read and answerPer GMass documentation, 2026-08-10. Closer than the price gap suggests. The difference is that replies here become CRM records rather than staying email. |
| CRM, booking and forms | Built-in CRM with deal pipelines, BookMe booking links, JaxForms, and Google, Outlook and Zoom calendar connections | None. Campaign-level reporting, with Gmail itself as the record of what was sentPer gmass.co feature listing, 2026-08-10. If you need to know which of last month’s replies turned into pipeline, that answer does not exist in GMass. |
| List hygiene | Email validation, inbox-placement testing and a blocklist in the platform | Free email verification on every plan, plus a spam solver and A/B testingFrom gmass.co/pricing, 2026-08-10. Verification is genuinely included, not an upsell. |
Choose JaxSuite AI when
- • You do not have the list. GMass will send to a spreadsheet beautifully but it cannot tell you who belongs on it.
- • Your team is on Microsoft 365, or you want to send outside a mailbox provider entirely on dedicated IPs.
- • You are launching new domains and mailboxes and need automated warm-up, which GMass no longer offers.
- • You need replies to become deals: pipelines, booking links and forms live in the same account here.
- • Volume is growing past what a handful of Google accounts can carry within their daily limits.
Choose GMass when
- • It is a one-off mail merge from a spreadsheet. GMass does that faster, cheaper and with less setup, and we would be overkill.
- • You want to work inside Gmail. Nobody has to learn a new interface, and sent mail sits in the Sent folder where you expect it.
- • You already have your list and only need it sent well.
- • Your budget is under $50 a month, where our paid outreach tiers simply are not competing.
- • You are emailing your own contacts, members or newsletter rather than running prospecting at scale.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, clearly. GMass individual plans are $249, $349 and $599 a year, shown as $20, $29 and $49 a month billed annually, against $97 and $197 a month for our paid outreach tiers. JaxSuite AI does have a free Core plan, so the honest comparison is not free against paid, it is what each paid tier includes: GMass sends, and JaxSuite AI adds the contact database, warm-up and a CRM.
